Xiaomi has launched Xiaomi 11T series in Europe, and among these, there’s a new mid-range smartphone named Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE (New Edition). And within hours of the launch, Xiaomi Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain has made it clear that this handset will be launched in India this month.
Manu Kumar Jain (Manu Kumar Jain), who is managing director of Xiaomi, confirmed on his Twitter handle that Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE will launch in India on September 29, 2021. He has clearly written in his tweet that the company is bringing the device to India within two weeks of its global launch. Also promoting this smartphone, he wrote “the slimmest and lightest 5G smartphone”, that is, this could be India’s thinnest and lightest 5G phone as well when it launches.

Not just that in a recent Amazon India quiz, it was revealed that Xiaomi 11 Lite NE will support 12 5G bands.
Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE Specs
We expect Xiaomi India to launch the same model as the global one. If so, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE would be an upgraded version of 11 Lite 4G, with a new chipset and 5G support, while the rest of the features remain more or less similar. Here’s everything else the global variant brings to the table:
At the heart, there is the Snapdragon 778G, based on 6nm architecture. With this, it offers 6GB/8GB RAM options and 128GB/256GB of storage. There is an option to increase storage with dedicated micro SD slots too.
At the back, there is a triple rear camera setup fitted in a square-shaped module which includes a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor. A 20MP camera is available for clicking selfies and video calling on the front.
On the front, it has got a 6.55-inch AMOLED display, Full HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Vision support. It also includes features such as HDR10+ support, DCI-P3 color coverage.

It also includes features like 5G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, fingerprint sensor on the side, 4250mAh battery, and 33W fast charging support.
Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE India Price and Availabiity
Coming to prices, it has been launched globally at a price of €369 (approximately Rs. 32,000). In India too, both variants of Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G are expected to come between Rs 30,000 and Rs 35,000.
