A hot minute after the Xiaomi 14 launch, rumors about the Xiaomi 15 series have started to pour in. First, the series will contain two smartphones, including Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. These are expected to arrive at the same time next year, i.e., October 2024. The first piece of information about these phones reveals what type of display and chipset they’ll come with. Here’s everything you should know.

Xiaomi 15 Leaked Specifications

Xiaomi 15 screen

According to Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the vanilla Xiaomi 15 will have a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5 resolution. Like the Xiaomi 14, the Xiaomi 15 should have flat edges on the side. However, the tipster also mentions that these parameters still have scope for improvement, indicating that the company could be finalizing specifications.

Both Phones To Feature The Unreleased Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC

Both the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro should feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which should also come out next year. Further, the Pro variant might also feature thinner bezels at 0.6mm, compared to the 0.9mm thick bezels on the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Although this is the leak’s extent, it is still very early, as we are nearly a year from the launch. A few months down the lane, the company could change certain aspects depending on how the prototypes perform.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi will drop the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in March 2024. The phone will feature a quad-camera setup with two telephoto lenses and run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
