Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE could launch in the country later this month. Recent reports state that the company might drop the MI branding during the phone’s launch. Apparently, ‘NE’ in the model’s name stands for ‘New Edition’. Leaks suggest that Xiaomi will start teasing the smartphone in India within the next few days.

Recent leaks by Tipster Yogesh Brar suggest that this model would be priced at around Rs. 23,000 to Rs. 24000 in India. He is confident that the phone will be priced under Rs. 25000 to compete with the Realme GT Master Edition that was launched recently.

Certification

Although most of the specs for the Indian version seem to be the same as that of the Chinese version is the processor. The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G octa-core SoC while the China model is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G SoC.

Leakster @_snoopytech_ via their Twitter handle has also revealed the expected specs for the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. According to them, it will be powered by the 2.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, with an internal storage of 128GB. It is expected to come in a black color option only. No details have been revealed about its RAM.

As for the camera, it will have a triple camera system that will include a 64 MP primary, 8MP secondary, and a 5MP third sensor. It also has a 20MP camera for selfies and video calls. The front camera is believed to be inside a hole-punch display with the cut-out placed in the top left corner of the screen. Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE will run on Android 11. The device could measure 160.5 x 75.7 x 6.8mm and weigh around 159 grams making it an extremely lightweight device. Under the hood, it is expected to have a 4200 mAh battery.
