Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Indian version of the Galaxy S24 Snapdragon or Exynos?
While it originally launched with Exynos, Samsung officially relaunched a refreshed Galaxy S24 in India with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy in late 2025. This model is now the standard version available in most retail stores and online marketplaces.
How long does the battery last on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Snapdragon?
The 4000 mAh battery is compact, but the efficient Snapdragon chip helps it deliver roughly 6 to 7 hours of screen-on time. It comfortably lasts a full day of normal use, though heavy 5G users might need a quick top-up by the evening.
Does the Samsung Galaxy S24 Snapdragon have heating issues?
This model stays much cooler than the original Exynos version thanks to the better thermal efficiency of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It might get slightly warm during intense gaming or 4K video recording, but it rarely throttles or becomes uncomfortable to hold.
How fast does the Samsung Galaxy S24 Snapdragon charge?
It supports 25W wired charging, which takes about 75 to 80 minutes for a full charge from zero. It also supports 15W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging if you need to juice up your Galaxy Buds on the go.
Is the Samsung Galaxy S24 Snapdragon good for gaming?
It is a beast for gaming. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 handles heavy titles like BGMI and Genshin Impact at high settings with very stable frame rates, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes everything feel incredibly smooth.
How is the camera quality on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Snapdragon?
The 50MP main camera is excellent, producing sharp and vibrant shots even in tricky low-light conditions. You also get a dedicated 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, which is much better for portraits than the digital zoom found on cheaper phones.
Is the Samsung Galaxy S24 Snapdragon display bright enough for outdoors?
Absolutely, the screen hits a peak brightness of 2600 nits, making it perfectly readable even under direct, harsh Indian sunlight. It's a high-end LTPO AMOLED panel that looks stunning whether you're watching movies or just scrolling social media.
Is the Samsung Galaxy S24 Snapdragon waterproof?
Yes, it has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. It can survive being submerged in fresh water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, so you don't have to worry about accidental spills or using it in light rain.
