Vivo Y53 With 5-Inch Display, Snapdragon 425SoC and 4GVoLTE launched for Rs 9,990

Vivo Y53 is another budget smartphone launched by the company and is all set to hit the off line stores at Rs. 9,990.  Considering its price, it is likely to take on Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4 which also starts around the same price.Vivo Y53

In terms of specification, the vivo Y53 houses a 5-inch qHD display giving 960 x 540 pixels resolution. Vivo has manage to rope in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz for all the heavy lifting.

TheY53 ships with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

In the optics section, the handset boasts an 8MP rear snapper with f/2.0 and 5MP selfie snapper with f/2.2 on the front. To assist in capturing selfies in low light conditions, it comes with a screen flash function that automatically switches on in low-light conditions for brighter selfies.

The phone comes out of the box running on Android Marshmallow with vivo’s Funtouch 3.0 OS garnished on top. Like most Chinese UI, it to ditches app drawer and stack app the apps on home screen. It comes with an eye protection mode that filters out blue light to prevent eye strain and smart split option for better multi-tasking. The phone draws its power from a 2,500mAh non-removable battery. The vivo Y53 will be available in Crown Gold and Space Grey colors in major brick and mortar stores across the country in a few days.
