Vivo U10 with Snapdragon 665 and 5000mAh battery launched in India starting at Rs. 8,990

Vivo’s U series which caters to the budget segment has released a new phone today by the name U10. We had already received some key specs and specialties from the phone’s dedicated microsite on Amazon India. The phone ships with a Snapdragon 665 chipset, upto 4GB of RAM, and expandable storage upto 256GB. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support. On the imaging front, you get an AI triple camera setup which offers a wide-angle view and portrait bokeh features.

Vivo U10 pricing and availability

The phone goes on sale from September 29, 2019, via Amazon India. The base variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at Rs. 8,990, while the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage comes at Rs. 9,990 and lastly, the bigger 4GB RAM and 64GB at Rs. 10,990.

You get No Cost EMI upto 6 months and Jio offers upto Rs. 6000 as part of the launch.

Vivo U10 key highlights

At the bedrock, you have Snapdragon 665 which powers several other budget phones such as Xiaomi Mi A3 (review) and Realme 5 (review). This is aided by upto 4GB of RAM and 64GB of disk space. If that’s not enough, you can insert a micro-SD card and expand the storage upto 256GB.

Vivo U10 launched in India

For you, gamers out there, U10 brings Ultra Gaming Mode. Albeit a budget phone, Vivo hasn’t sacrificed the essentials. It packs a 5000mAh battery that’s backed by 18W fast charging support. The software is Vivo‘s Funtouch OS which is based on Android 9 Pie.

Moving outward, you get a familiar design language. U10 has a gradient back and you get to pick between 2 colors – Electric Blue and Thunder Black. The front has a 6.35-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch up top. An 8MP camera resides within that tiny slit. Flip to the back, a vertical stack of 13MP+ 8MP+ 2MP completes the AI triple camera setup.
