Vivo X90 Pro Plus specs revealed via Geekbench: Launch becomes imminent

Tech giant Vivo is gearing up for the launch of the successor to the Vivo X80 Series soon. The Vivo X90 Series devices are being spotted on various listings thus making the launch imminent. The series is expected to consist 3 smartphones- Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro, and Vivo X90 Pro Plus 5G. Recently, leading website MySmartPrice spotted the top variant aka the Vivo X90 Pro Plus on Geekbench which revealed some of its key specs.

Vivo X90 Pro Plus Specs (confirmed & expected)

According to the Geekbench listing, the Vivo X90 Pro Plus 5G comes with model number V2227A and is powered by Qualcomm Kalama which is a codename for the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The chipset is expected to give the highest clock speed of 3.19GHz and has scored 1485 and 4739 in Geekbench single-core and multi-core tests. The listed smartphone will come with 12GB RAM and run Android 13 out of the box with a layer of Origin OS Ocean on top.

Earlier reports claim that the Vivo X90 Pro Plus 5G will have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of camera, it is said to have a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor , a 48MP ultrawide sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens and a 64MP periscope camera. There will be a 32MP selfie camera at the front and the smartphone might have a 5000mAh battery with 100W fast charging.
