After dropping the Vivo X100 and the Vivo X100 Pro, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is planning to drop the Vivo X100 Pro+. The smartphone will feature top-of-the-line specifications, including 2K resolution, a one-inch camera, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
The Vivo X100 Pro+ Could Feature A Samsung E7 AMOLED Screen
According to known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the phone could come with the Samsung E7 AMOLED display with 2K resolution. Further, the smartphone will likely have an LTPO panel that can vary its refresh rate up to 120Hz. In comparison, the other two models in the lineup, i.e., Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro, feature a BOE display.
The Handset Could Come With Sony LYT900 Sensor
The tipster also says the handset could feature the 50MP Sony LYT900 one-inch sensor. This particular sensor will also power the Xiaomi 14 Ultra and Oppo Find X7’s camera system. It is important to note that both these models are the top-tier variants of their lineup, and so is the X100 Pro+.
Vivo X100 Pro+ Expected Specifications
Other than the display specifications, the Vivo X100 Pro+ will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Apart from the primary sensor, the handset should house a 50MP Sony IMX789 ultrawide sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX589 telephoto sensor, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. However, the zoom range that the sensors could provide isn’t known.
Last but not least, the smartphone could feature a 5,400 mAh battery and support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The Vivo X100 Pro+ could arrive sometime in 2024, perhaps in the year’s first half. Until then, stay tuned for more updates.
