Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom
After introducing its augmented reality and daydream compatible phone – the Asus Zenfone AR (first impression), the company is all set to launch its mid-range dual rear camera phone in India. Asus in all likeliness will introduce the Zenfone 3 Zoom in India this month on Flipkart. The dual cameras, 5000mAh battery, AMOLED display and aggressive pricing will be its key highlights.

Lenovo K8 Note
Lenovo K series all set to get a new ‘Note‘. The successor of K6 Note could be launched in August as the company has started posting ‘killer note’ teasers on its social channels. Though the company is keeping all the cards close to its chest, we expect it to be the K8 Note. The new K Note series phone could pack Helio X20 processor if the buzz on streets is to be believed. In all probability, the new killer note will be part of sub 15K club.

Nokia 6 / Nokia 5
After announcing availability details of the Nokia 6 (first impression)and Nokia 5, HMD Global had to postpone their availability until August. Now, that August is knocking on the door, both phones are scheduled to hit retail windows soon. While, the Nokia 6 will be available from 23 August exclusively on Amazon (only for registered users), the Nokia 5 will retail only through offline channels.
To recall, The Nokia 6 (back covers & cases) comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset, 3GB RAM, and a fingerprint sensor. The Nokia 5 (back cover & cases), on the other hand, offers a 5.2-inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, 2GB of RAM and 16GB.

BlackBerry Keyone
Former premium phone maker BlackBerry, which now struggling to keep its head above water, is all set to introduce its KEYone smartphone in India. The company will launch this new phone on August 1. The USP of the phone is its full-size QWERTY keyboard. In terms of specification, it sports a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display, Snapdragon 625 SoC, 3GB RAM, 32GB and 12MP & 8MP shooters.
LG Q6
LG is a household name in India in home appliances but the South Korean maker is yet to crack Indian mobile market. This month LG is expected to introduce its Q-series phones in India, including Q6(18:9 display) and Q8(dual displays) that pass on high-end features from G and V series to mid-range segment.
Infinix
Transsion Holdings backed HongKong based smartphone maker Infinix is set to enter Indian mobile market. The company is hosting a press event in India on August 1 and in all likeliness, it will announce its first smartphone (may be more) from the same stage. The invite which is sent to media doesn’t feature any information related to the upcoming smartphone, but we are expecting something aggressively priced.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Riding on the success of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus Samsung posted on record-breaking Q1 results. With an eye on replacing Apple as the most valued tech brand, Samsung is all set to take the wraps off the Galaxy Note in NewYork on August 23. The much-anticipated phone is a successor of ill fated Note 7 which was discontinued after explosion cases. The is said to pack flagship hardware along with infinity display and a stylus.
Nokia 8
HMD Global’s Nokia is preparing up to unveil first flagship smartphone to the world. The company has started sending out media invites for August 16 event where it is expected to announce Nokia 8.The phone is said to features a 5.3-inch QHD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, 4GB or 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and dual-SIM support. Reliance JioPhone
After disrupting telecom industry with its free calls and free data offers, Reliance Jio is now all set to take mobile phone market by a storm. At the recently concluded AGM meet, Jio announced its 4G VoLTE enabled feature phone which will be offered for mere Rs. 1500 bucks (that too company will refund after three years).
The trail for Jio Phones commences from August 15th while pre-booking will start from August 24. The ‘India Ka Smartphone’ -as Jio puts it, will support NFC for digital payments, support for 22 Indian languages, will accept voice commands, and have an FM radio.
