Teasers for the OPPO Find X9 series have begun, and the latest one comes directly from OPPO’s flagship product director, Zhou Yibao. He shared a post on Weibo highlighting the thickness and battery size of the OPPO Find X9, while comparing it with the Find X8 and X8s.
OPPO Find X9: 7.99mm and 7,025 mAh
Let’s start with the Find X9 first because that’s what we’re interested in. The Find X9 will be 7.99mm thick, which is very slim for a flagship, and yet it will house a battery of more than 5,630 + >1,000 mAh. As per a recent leak from Xpertpick, the battery size will be 7,025 mAh, which is a massive upgrade in capacity.

Other Specs
The phone is said to weigh under 210 grams and still support 80W wired charging along with 50W wireless charging. For comparison, the Find X8 weighed 193 grams and had the same charging speeds.
On the camera side, leaks hint at a triple 50MP setup. The main shooter will be Sony’s LYT-808 with OIS, backed by a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide and a 50MP Samsung JN9 periscope. For selfies, we’re expecting a 50MP front camera. Of course, the phone will come with Hasselblad and LUMO imaging.

Performance should also be flagship level. Multiple tipsters, including Digital Chat Station, claim the Find X9 will run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, paired with a 6.59-inch LTPO OLED screen running at 120Hz and 2K resolution. Other details like an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP66/68/69 protection, and magnetic wireless charging have been confirmed by Zhou himself.
Zhou also dismissed some over-the-top rumors, like the idea of 24GB RAM with 2TB storage, saying the phone will take a more practical route. OPPO Find X9 Launch Date
The Find X9 is confirmed to launch in China in early October 2025, with global launch set for October 28. The Indian launch expected in November 2025.
