Swipe Elite Plus offers Full HD Display and Snapdragon 615 At 6,999 INR

Swipe Elite Plus costs just 7k, but includes a lofty set of hardware. Of course lusting after specs isn’t ideal (you never get to see the fine print warning), but yes they do serve the purpose of getting a product noticed.

So, exactly how lofty are we talking here?

  • A 5-inch display with Full HD 1080p resolution
  • A 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 octa-core with Adreno 405GPU
  • 13 MP rear camera, 8MP front camera
  • 3050 mAh battery
  • 4G LTE, OTG

That sounds like a lot of hardware muscle for the price. On the software side of things, there is Android Lollipop based Freedom OS. If specifications turn you on, you can always order Ivory White or Midnight Blue Swipe Elite Plus from Flipkart for 6,999 INR. Or you could wait for the reviews to be out.

Commenting on the launch Shripal Gandhi, and Founder& CEO of Swipe Technologies, said, “A marvel of craftsmanship and technology combines the beauty of Elite Plus. Our products are designed keeping in mind the expectations of Indian youth who is demanding better experience from smartphones in terms of better hardware as well as software. Elite Plus is priced competitively to offer this superior experience to the aspiring youth of the country.”

  1. i am seriously thinking about gifting this one to my dad who mostly uses his current Lumia 640 for surfing and otherwise light to moderate work. will this be a good gift for him? thing i m worried about is hang problem and slowing down that androids usually encounter. pls guide.

    • I suggest you wait for reviews to be out, or not buy this one at all. Your dad would surely prefer something reliable, consistent even if it isn’t fancy. So.. among affordable options, you can consider Le 1s Eco, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (2GB variant) or Asus Zenfone Max (if the heavy-weight isn’t a deal breaker for you).

  2. i am sincerely thinking about gifting this one to my dad who is more into net browsing and otherwise light to moderate use.. is this good enough to be used without any significant slow down and hang problem that androids usually encounter.. please guide me,… thx
