Sony has introduced a new Android-powered Walkman NW-ZX707 in the Indian market. The latest audio player comes in the premium segment as it is loaded with top-quality specs. The features include WiFi compatibility, 25 hours of playback time, and much more.

The Walkman is priced at Rs. 69,990 in the country. It will retail via Headphone zone from today.

Sony Walkman NW-ZX707: Features

The new Walkman is portable and has a premium look. It is made of high-quality components that make the audio quality even better. The brand claims that it hasn’t used any plastic in the packaging in an effort towards a sustainable environment. The Walkman is made of gold solder that improves sound localization and wider sound space. There is also a dual clock, film capacitor, and a fine sound register to give a good sound quality.

The Walkman is powered by DSD Remastering Engine that can resample the PCM into an 11.2MHz DSD for a better listening experience. It supports the S-Master HX Digital amp technology and uses Edge AI and DSEE Ultimate to upscale compressed music in real time. The Walkman provides CD-quality lossless codec audio and supports WiFi 802.11 for quick downloads and music streaming.

The Walkman NW-ZX707 comes with up to 25 hours of total playback on a single charge and sports a 5-inch HD TFT display. It runs Android 12. Sony Walkman NW-ZX707 offers 64GB of internal storage and charges from zero to a hundred in 3.5 hours via the USB Type-C port. It lets users download apps like Deezer, Spotify, and more from the Google Play Store.
