TL; DR
  • The report notes how the car in the picture seems to have a new door shape (which could be attributed to new sheet metal for the door), a new taillight design with LED turn indicators and LED reverse lights.
  • Although these changes aren’t significant, they aren’t worth ignoring either. Skoda will likely redesign the front fascia of the upcoming Slavia, along with major additions to the cabin experience, which still lags behind some of the most popular cars being sold in India.

Update (November 14, 2025): Skoda has clarified to us that the images posted on the social media platform depict an AI-generated version of the Skoda Slavia. They do not depict the purported Slavia update that is rumored to launch sometime in 2026. More details are awaited.

Even though the Skoda Slavia is manufactured in India and then exported to Nepal, Skoda Nepal has released a teaser of the car’s facelift, rumored to arrive sometime next year. The teaser comes as an image shared via the company’s official X handle.

Skoda Nepal has teased the rear and the side profile of the upcoming Slavia facelift (seen in the Instagram post embedded above). The report notes how the car in the picture seems to have a new door shape (which could be attributed to new sheet metal for the door), a new taillight design with LED turn indicators and LED reverse lights.

The company’s lettering between the taillights has grown noticeably larger. Furthermore, there are new badges on the tailgate, along with revised grooves and reflectors. The current model features a chrome strip at the bottom of the rear bumper, but the car in the picture doesn’t appear to have one either.

Although the alloys appear revised, they largely look similar to those on the current-generation Slavia. Instead of multiple character lines, the upcoming model could feature a prominent line below the window panes and above the door handles.

Although these changes aren’t significant, they aren’t worth ignoring either. Skoda will likely redesign the front fascia of the upcoming Slavia, along with major additions to the cabin experience, which still lags behind some of the most popular cars being sold in India.
