Motorola has officially launched the Edge 70 Pro in India. Compared to the Edge 60 Pro, this one improves in a few key areas like a brighter display, faster UFS 4.1 storage, and a bigger 6,500 mAh battery. At the same time, there are some trade-offs, including the removal of the telephoto camera, no wireless charging, and no eSIM support.
Pricing and Availability
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro comes in two variants:
- 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage: ₹38,999
- 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage: ₹41,999
With up to ₹2,000 instant bank discount, the effective prices come down to ₹36,999 and ₹39,999. The phone is available starting today through Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and select retail stores across India.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro Specifications
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro comes with a 6.8-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 5,200 nits peak brightness, and 1,800 nits HBM. It also gets Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

Performance is handled by the Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset (same as Edge 60 Pro), paired with LPDDR5X RAM and faster UFS 4.1 storage. It runs Hello UI based on Android 16, and Motorola is promising 3 years of OS upgrades along with 5 years of security updates.
For cameras, you get a 50 MP LYT710 f/1.8 main sensor, a 50 MP JN5 f/2.0 ultra-wide camera with macro support, and a 50 MP JN5 f/1.9 front camera with autofocus. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording at 60 fps. Unlike the Edge 60 Pro, there is no telephoto lens here.

The phone packs a slightly larger 6,500 mAh battery with 90W wired charging. There is no support for wireless charging.

It is 6.99 mm thin and weighs 190 grams. Durability includes IP68 and IP69 ratings along with MIL-STD-810H certification. Other features include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and dual stereo speakers. eSIM support is missing.
