The first month of 2025 has been marked by a series of thrilling product launches, with OnePlus and Samsung leading the charge in the premium flagship segment. January 2025 saw the debut of the OnePlus 13 series alongside the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, both equipped with the cutting-edge Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Additionally, Redmi has unveiled its 5G device, the Redmi 14C 5G, priced under Rs 10,000, while the Poco X7 series has emerged as a mid-range gaming option featuring impressive battery life. Realme also made its presence felt by launching the Realme 14 Pro series in India.

Looking ahead, numerous other brands are preparing to unveil their own noteworthy devices. From Vivo and Samsung to iQOO, ASUS, and Honor, February 2025 promises to be an exciting month for smartphone enthusiasts.

Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is preparing to introduce a new smartphone aimed at the under-30k segment in India. The iQOO Neo 10R is anticipated to launch in February 2025, boasting impressive specifications such as the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a 144Hz AMOLED display, and a versatile camera configuration. This device is part of the Neo Family and will be available in striking blue and white colors, exclusive to the Indian market. Teasers reveal a square camera module, and the phone is expected to support 90fps gaming along with high-quality 4K 60fps video recording.

Internally, it will be powered by a substantial 6400mAh battery with 80W wired charging capabilities. On the camera front, the smartphone will include a 50MP Sony LYT 600 primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide sensor on the rear. The official launch date will be announced shortly.

The Vivo V40 Series successor is set to launch in India in February 2025. Recently, we provided exclusive insights into the Vivo V50 series. The global unveiling of the Vivo V50 is scheduled for February, with the Indian release anticipated in the third week of the month, tentatively on the 18th.

This iteration of the Vivo V50 Series introduces a significant change, as there will be no Pro version available at launch; only the standard V50 is confirmed for now, with a Pro model potentially debuting later. The Vivo V50 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display and will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, alongside 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. OnePlus is preparing to launch its second foldable device, following the debut of the OnePlus Open in October 2023. The new model is anticipated to be unveiled in February 2025. While the company has not officially confirmed the launch details, widespread rumors are suggesting that the foldable will be available globally this month.

The OnePlus Open 2 is expected to feature a robust 6000mAh battery and options for 12GB or 16GB of RAM. It is likely to run on OxygenOS 15, which is based on Android 15 and will include advanced AI functionalities. In January 2025, Smartprix provided an exclusive first look at the OnePlus Open 2, highlighting its slimmer design compared to its predecessor. The Xiaomi 15 Series has officially debuted in China, featuring the Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro, Xiaomi 15 Custom Edition, and a Limited Edition model. Reports indicate that two models, the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra, are set to arrive in India in February 2025. A leaked promotional poster suggests that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will launch in China on February 26.

The Xiaomi 15 retains a design reminiscent of the Xiaomi 14 and is equipped with a robust 5400mAh battery that supports 90W HyperCharge technology. It is expected to feature a 6.36-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive brightness of 3200 nits, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

In addition, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be introduced not only globally but also in India this month. This model is anticipated to be the brand’s first Ultra variant to support E-SIM functionality. 6. Samsung Galaxy A36 & Galaxy A56

Following the introduction of the Galaxy S25 Series in January, Samsung appears to be gearing up for the release of two A-Series models in February 2025. The Samsung Galaxy A36 and Samsung Galaxy A56 are set to be unveiled both globally and in India this month. Their pricing in India is expected to range from ₹30,000 to ₹45,000, featuring high-end specifications tailored for their market segment. Recent sightings on BIS and other certification listings indicate that the launch is imminent.

The listings suggest that the Galaxy A56 will operate on One UI 7 and will support 45W wired charging, powered by a 4905mAh battery. It is anticipated that the Galaxy A56 will utilize the Exynos 1580 chipset. In contrast, the Galaxy A36 is rumored to be equipped with either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, also running One UI 7 out of the box. The Galaxy A36 is expected to be priced below ₹30,000, while the Galaxy A56 is projected to be around ₹40,000. Samsung has yet to officially announce the launch date for these devices, leaving the possibility that the release could be postponed to the first week of March.

7. Infinix Note 50 Series

The Infinix Note 50 Series is set to launch in February 2025, aiming at the sub-15k market segment in India. Recently, the series was listed on the FCC, indicating a potential rollout in the country this month. The Infinix Note 50 is expected to have dimensions of approximately 163.2×74.4x9mm and will feature 45W wired charging capabilities. The series includes four models: Note 50X, Note 50 Pro, Note 50 Pro Plus, and Note 50. It remains uncertain whether all four models will be available in India.

8. ASUS ROG Phone 9 Series

The ASUS ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro are expected to debut in India in February 2025. Aimed at gaming aficionados, these devices will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, complemented by specifications such as a 5800mAh battery and a 165Hz AMOLED display, among others. While the smartphones have already been introduced globally, their specifications are known, and the pricing details will be disclosed during the launch event in India.

9. ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra

ASUS has announced the global launch of the Zenfone 12 Ultra, scheduled for February 6th. This new model will feature a punch-hole display, reduced bezels, and will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 elite chipset. The device will operate on ZenUI and showcase a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. For photography, it will include a 50MP triple camera system on the rear and a 32MP front-facing camera. Additionally, it will be powered by a 5800mAh battery, supporting 65W wired and 15W wireless charging. It remains uncertain whether ASUS will release this model in India.

10. Honor X9c

Honor introduced the Honor 200 Lite smartphone in India in September 2024, and since then, there have been no further launches in the country. However, starting today, the brand has begun teasing a new smartphone for the Indian market. An Amazon landing page has been activated, which does not disclose the device’s name, but the teaser images indicate that the company is preparing to unveil the Honor X9c as the successor to the Honor X9b in February 2025.

The Amazon page for the Honor X9c highlights features such as an OIS+EIS camera setup, a substantial battery, and support for fast charging. The device showcases a round camera module on the back and a curved edge display on the front. Its design closely resembles that of the Honor X9c, which was launched in Malaysia in November 2024. Tipster Paras Guglani has suggested that it will be available in India on February 15, 2025.

According to the specifications from Malaysia, the smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. It houses a 6600mAh battery with 66W wired charging capabilities. For photography, it includes a 108MP main camera and a 5MP ultrawide sensor. The Honor X9c operates on MagicOS 8.0, based on Android 14, and is rated IP65 for durability. Its dimensions are 7.98mm in thickness and it weighs 189 grams.
