  • Greek publication TechManiacs reports that the purported Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE could cost around EUR 1,000, making it more affordable than the flagship Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.
  • The publication also reports on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE’s specifications, suggesting that the foldable might feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with support for LTPO technology.
  • Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE could feature the same chipset as the Flip 6: the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (4nm).

While Samsung’s sixth generation of foldable devices didn’t do as well, the company is gearing up to redeem its leadership in the segment with an “FE” edition flip-style foldable later this year. Dubbed the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, the clamshell will debut alongside the seventh generation of the foldable in a Galaxy Unpacked event.

Ahead of its official debut, a publication seems to have gotten its hands on the handset’s pricing and specifications.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Price (Leaked)

Greek publication TechManiacs reports that the purported Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE could cost around EUR 1,000, making it more affordable than the flagship.

Currently, Samsung’s 2024 flip-style foldable, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, is available for around EUR 899. Hence, it is being speculated that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE could be a reiteration of the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Specifications (Leaked)

The publication also reports on the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE’s specifications, suggesting that the foldable might feature a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with support for LTPO technology. The cover screen, however, could remain the same 3.4-inch AMOLED panel found on the Galaxy Z Flip 6 (review).

Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC

Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE could feature the same chipset as the Flip 6: the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (4nm). Paired with 12GB of RAM, the processor should offer enough processing power for the most demanding tasks, such as playing video games or editing videos on the go.

Besides, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE could come with a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP selfie camera. All the sensors should be able to record 4K60 videos. Powering the clamshell could be a 4,000 mAh battery that supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.

Additional features of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE include an IP48 dust and water resistance rating and a USB Type-C 3.2 port. If these specifications sound familiar, that’s because they are similar to those of the current-generation Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Launch Timeline

The clamshell foldable could debut alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July.
