The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to feature a 50MP primary sensor alongside a 12MP ultrawide sensor. For selfies, it will include a 10MP front-facing camera. Although Samsung began incorporating 12MP selfie sensors in 2023, the Galaxy Z Flip series has not yet adopted this upgrade.

While there may not be any alterations to the hardware, improvements in software are anticipated this time around. Therefore, if the Galaxy Z Flip 7 captures superior photos, it will likely be due to enhanced camera software updates. It may also feature the ProVisual Engine to enhance low-light photography, akin to the Galaxy S25 Series.

Design patents reveal a contemporary design for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, featuring three external cameras that suggest the inclusion of a telephoto sensor in the future. However, these design patents remain theoretical until they are realized, so we will need to await definitive updates to determine if Samsung intends to enhance the Z Flip series in 2026. In the meantime, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is anticipated to be equipped with the Exynos 2500 chipset, which could further enhance its camera functionalities.
