Following the introduction of the flagship iQOO 13 5G, Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has been hinting at the upcoming release of the ‘R’ model within the ‘Neo’ Series in India since December 2024. The smartphone has now been officially confirmed for an imminent launch in the country. Nipun Marya, CEO of iQOO India, announced on X that the iQOO Neo 10R will be arriving in India shortly.

Reports indicate that the iQOO Neo 10R is expected to be released in February 2025, although this date has not yet been officially confirmed. It remains unclear whether the brand will introduce only the iQOO Neo 10R or if additional models will be unveiled at the same time. The iQOO Neo 10 was launched in China towards the end of 2024, and since then, iQOO has been promoting the 10R for both the Indian and global markets. The company asserts that the forthcoming smartphone will be the fastest in the category under Rs. 30,000, as indicated by its AnTuTu score, particularly for the 12GB RAM variant.

iQOO Neo 10R: Design Teased

The teasers reveal a dual-tone design that has been previously observed in iQOO smartphones. This design is reportedly targeted towards the GenZ demographic and will be available in Lunar Titanium and Blue White Slice colors. The blue shade resembles that of the iQOO Z9 Turbo long battery life edition, which was launched in China earlier this month. Additionally, the rear design bears a resemblance to the orange variant of the iQOO Neo 10, featuring white patterns on the left side along with the branding “NEO POWER TO WIN.”

iQOO Neo 10R: Expected Specs

The promotional materials highlight a dual-camera configuration on the rear, featuring a primary 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens. The primary sensor is equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS). There are strong indications that the smartphone will include a substantial 6400mAh battery and will be available in India in both 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, offering 256GB of storage. Additionally, it is expected to support 80W wired fast charging. It is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.

Reports indicate that the iQOO Neo 10R is set to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, boasting a refresh rate of 144Hz, a peak brightness of 4500 nits, and 3840Hz PWM dimming technology. The device will operate on Android 15 with FunTouch OS 15 and will carry an IP64 rating. According to industry sources, the iQOO Neo 10R is expected to include a Sony camera capable of recording 4K video at 60fps.
