TL; DR
  • iQOO confirms August 20 as the India launch date for the Z11 smartphone.
  • India variant gets a distinct curved display and horizontal Skyline Camera Module.
  • Expected to use Dimensity 7500 Turbo, differing from China’s Dimensity 8500 chip.

After dozens of leaks, rumors, and teasers, iQOO India has finally confirmed the launch date for the Z11, its next mid-range smartphone. While we already reviewed the iQOO Z11x earlier this year, the iQOO Z11 will be placed in a higher segment and command a higher price.

iQOO Z11: Indian Launch Date Revealed

The iQOO Z11 arrives in India on August 20, 2026. Like the other models in the lineup, it should be available to purchase via iQOO’s e-store and Amazon India, though the company hasn’t confirmed that bit yet. We also know that the phone will be available in two colors: Aurora Green and Celestial Blue.

The India variant, unlike the Chinese one, will come with a curved display, a slimmer profile, and an entirely reworked horizontal camera housing dubbed the Skyline Camera Module. It will feature two large rings, a smaller sensor, and a circular light accent. This marks iQOO’s first horizontal camera bar design, which, for all intents and purposes, looks reminiscent of the camera bar on Google’s Pixel lineup, at least to me.

iQOO Z11: What Else Do We Know?

The China unit runs on the Dimensity 8500. We’ve tested its Ultra variant on the recently-launched Redmi Turbo 5. However, other reports suggest the India-bound Z11 will instead pack the Dimensity 7500 Turbo. It’s worth mentioning here that it could be the first handset to feature the new chipset.

Other rumored specs include a 1.5K 144Hz OLED panel, a battery in the 7,000-8,000mAh range with 90W charging, and a 50MP primary OIS camera. The phone could also feature dual IP68/IP69 protection.

I reviewed the iQOO Z11x immediately after it launched for ₹18,999, roughly three months before the company hiked the prices to ₹24,999 with absolutely no change in the phone’s hardware.

Given that the iQOO Z11 is rumored to come with noticeably better specifications, I can see the company pricing it at around ₹35,000, making it a mid-range contender that goes against smartphones like the OnePlus Nord CE 6 5G, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro, or the realme GT 7T.
