Samsung’s 2022 Production timeline revealed: includes Galaxy Tab S8 Series, Buds Pro 2 & Watch 5

Samsung as a brand had various successful product launches this year. These include Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip 3, Galaxy Watch 4, and others. And now, the company is gearing up for more exciting launches in 2022. While Samsung Galaxy S22 Series is expected to be a major launch in early 2022, the tech giant also has some other products in the pipeline.

A production schedule for 2022 has been leaked which has revealed that the line-up for 2022 includes successors to various 2020 Samsung products like Galaxy Buds Live, Galaxy Tab S8 Series, Watch 5, and more.

According to a report by The Elec (Tron) Samsung’s wireless business division has shared its roadmap for 2022 which includes about 30 major partners and that has names of Samsung’s upcoming tablets, laptops, smartwatches, and wireless headphones. As per a report, Samsung aims to ship 33.6 million Galaxy Tab units in 2022.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series is expected to have Galaxy Tab S8 Vanilla, Galaxy Tab S8 Lite, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra variants and 3 out of these 4 models are going into production very soon.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A Series will include Galaxy Tab A8 and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. These are scheduled to go in for production between Q1 and Q4 in 2022 with the company aiming to produce 11 million units of each variant.

Samsung is also planning to produce 2 Windows laptops as well as one Chromebook in 2022. Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 2-in-1 and Galaxy Book 2 Pro 5G will have 300,000 units each and will go into production in Q2 next year.

In the smartwatch department too, Samsung doesn’t plan to be left behind. The tech giant has targeted producing 4.8 million units of the upcoming smartwatch named Galaxy Watch 5 in Q4 in 2022.

Similarly, Samsung also aims to produce 23 million units of the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 and Galaxy Buds Live 2 in Q2-Q3 of 2022.

If Samsung can stay true to its planned timeline for production and launch, then the company might get a stronghold over at least certain markets next year.
