Samsung’s upcoming foldable lineup is just weeks away, and new retailer leaks have revealed what buyers may have to pay in both Europe and South Korea. The latest pricing comes from WinFuture (Europe) and a Bloter report citing South Korean carriers.

The leaks suggest Samsung is keeping the starting price of the standard Galaxy Z Fold8 unchanged in Europe, while the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8 are both getting a €100 increase. South Korean pricing tells a slightly different story, with the Fold8 reportedly becoming cheaper, while the Fold8 Ultra and Flip8 see price hikes.

European Pricing

Model256GB512GB1TBChange
Galaxy Z Fold8€1,999€2,199€2,599
Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra€2,199€2,399€2,799+€100
Galaxy Z Flip8€1,299€1,499+€100

The Galaxy Z Fold8, Samsung’s new wider foldable, is expected to start at €1,999 for the 256GB variant, matching last year’s Galaxy Z Fold7. The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, which succeeds the standard Fold7 as Samsung’s flagship book-style foldable, is tipped to start at €2,199, while the Galaxy Z Flip8 could start at €1,299.

Storage upgrades also appear to cost more this year. On the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, moving from 256GB to 512GB costs an additional €200, while the 1TB model adds another €400 over the base variant.

South Korean Pricing

A separate report from Bloter, citing local mobile carriers, reveals the following expected starting prices in Samsung’s home market:

ModelExpected Price (South Korea)Change
Galaxy Z Flip8KRW 1,683,000+KRW 198,000
Galaxy Z Fold8KRW 2,278,000-KRW 101,300
Galaxy Z Fold8 UltraKRW 2,577,000+KRW 197,700

Interestingly, South Korean pricing doesn’t follow the same trend as Europe. While the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip8 are expected to become more expensive, the Galaxy Z Fold8 could launch KRW 101,300 cheaper than last year’s Fold7.

The report also claims Samsung will open pre-orders in South Korea from July 28 to August 3, with pre-order deliveries beginning on August 4. General availability is expected to start on August 7.

Launch Expected on July 22

Samsung is widely expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and Galaxy Z Flip8 at Galaxy Unpacked on July 22 in London. The company has already started teasing the wider Galaxy Z Fold8 through a series of official videos, while recent leaks have also revealed the designs, official cases, colors, and key specifications of the upcoming foldables.

As always, these prices remain unofficial until Samsung makes the announcement later this month.
