It’s been more than a year since the introduction of the original Z Flip. Then later last year we also saw an iterative sequel of it called the Z Flip 5G. And this year we are expecting the successor to it, possibly christened the Galaxy Z Flip 3. What’s more, the purported promo material of the device has surfaced online. Not just it, but we also get a look at its cousin, the Z Fold 3.

So here’s what we have gathered —

From the leaked images, we see the clamshell model closes better than before with minimal gaps between the two sides. The Z Flip 3 also seems to have a vertical camera setup that’s accompanied by a tiny display to show important notifications and media controls. And an interesting design choice appears to be to blend these components within a black bar. Thus, the Z Flip 3 looks to have gotten a dual-tone design, something like the Pixel 2XL but a more integrated implementation.

Furthermore, the Z Flip 3 is said to sport a 120Hz display in and out along with Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

Although we have had a fair bit of details on the Z Fold 3, the new leak confirms many of those. What that is? you may ask. Well, the promos show the support for S Pen. And Samsung has apparently used less sharp tip on the stylus, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on the outside, and some sort of armor protection on the screen, hinge, and bezels.

Also, the leaks give us more reason to believe the use of an under-display camera on the Z Fold 3.

Well, it’s too soon to be sure about anything. We don’t even have a word on when the 3rd gen Galaxy foldables will make their debut. Again, it’s only based on rumors that we believe it to be a July event. Anyway, up till any official confirmation comes, we urge you to intake the aforesaid details with a grain of salt.
