Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A 10.1 launched in India: Price, Features and Availability

While the Tablet market continues to slow down, Samsung India continues to sees growth in the segment. Samsung is further adding to its tablet portfolio by introducing two new members viz. Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A 10.1. While both the tablets are aesthetically pleasing and powerful, Tab S5e sports a better spec sheet.

Galaxy Tab S5e Features

Galaxy Tab S5e comes in a slender, sleek with a metal-ish unibody design, packed with smart features for your mobile and media needs. You could easily carry it around as it weighs around 400g and is 5.5mm thick. It bears a 7040mAh battery that, according to Samsung, would last for 14.5 hours of video consumption. And if you need more juice, refill it via USB-C fast charger. Tab S5e flaunts a 10.5-inch S-AMOLED display that pushes 2560×1600 pixel resolution and 82% screen to body ratio.

Under the hood, the tab treads on a Snapdragon 670 chip along with 4GB of RAM and64GB of internal storage. Android Pie is the software experience that you get with this tablet. You could capture moments with a 13MP+8MP duo. Samsung brings Dex support to this tablet.

Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Features

With the Galaxy Tab A 10.1, you get slightly trimmed specs. It has a 10.1-inch Full HD display that could project brightness at 400nits. A metal unibody design encloses an Exynos 7904 SoC, 2GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage, Android Pie software, 6150 mAh fuel source, amongst the key spec list.

  • Both Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A10.1 come in three beautiful colors – Silver, Black, and Gold.
  • The Wi-Fi-only variant of Galaxy Tab S5e is priced at INR 35,999, while the Wi-Fi +LTE variant is priced at INR 39,999. Galaxy Tab S5e will go on sale from June 24 across all leading retail stores, Samsung e-Shop, and Samsung Opera House. Galaxy Tab S5e’s Wi-Fi variant will also be available on Amazon.in, while the Wi-Fi +LTE variant will also be available on Flipkart.

  • Galaxy Tab A 10.1’s Wi-Fi variant is priced at INR 14,999, while the Wi-Fi +LTE variant is priced at INR 19,999. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (Wi-Fi only) will be available for sales only on Amazon.in and Samsung e-Shop starting June 26. Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (Wi-Fi + LTE) will be available across all leading retail stores, Samsung e-Shop and Samsung Opera House starting July 1. This model will also be available on Amazon.in too.
