Ever since the rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series started making rounds in the tech world, there has been a lot of back and forth about which chipset will power the Galaxy S25 Series devices. While earlier there was news about Exynos 2500 being used, this was later refuted and MediaTek Dimensity 9400 was tipped to replace it. A tipster on X who goes by the username of @Jukanlosreve claimed that Samsung is planning to replace Exynos 2500 with Dimensity 9400 as Exynos 2500 won’t be ready in time.
Now, it seems the scenario has changed again, as the same leakster has shared a post on X that claims Snapdragon chipsets for the Galaxy S25 Series.

X user @Jukanlosreve claims that the meetings between Samsung and MediaTek that aimed to include the Dimensity 9400 chipset in the upcoming S-Series have shifted as the Dimensity chipset is now being reserved for the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE smartphone.
Since Exynos 2500 was dropped way back, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 Series will be powered by Snapdragon chips only. This will most likely be the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset made for Samsung only. This is being done to maximize the performance of the S25 Series.

The Exynos 2500 is reportedly being developed keeping the next generation of foldables Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in mind. The foldables have been planned for second half of 2025 and the brand would have to work super-hard to optimize the Exynos SoC for the foldables as until now they have been powered by Snapdragon chipsets.
However, since nothing has been made official yet and there are still around three months to go for the Galaxy S25 Series launch, so for now this tweet should be taken with a pinch of salt.
