Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Specs surface online: Read on to know more

Samsung is currently working towards the launch of its new top-of-the-line flagship series called the S22 line-up which includes the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Several reports have leaked various specs of S22 Ultra and now it is speculated that S22 Ultra will have 45W fast charging support. This is news as Samsung doesn’t provide fast charging support of more than 25W in any of its current flagship smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with 45W fast charging?

Tipster Ice Universe via Twitter claimed that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will upgrade to a 45W fast charging speed. This seems like a huge step for Samsung as it was long due to boost its fast-charging feature. Along with 45W fast charging support, the device is also expected to pack a 5000mAh battery. The higher charging rate will recharge the phone’s battery from 0 to 80 percent in around 35 minutes.

Earlier Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra was also spotted on the 3C listings which had claimed that the device would have 25W fast charging, so it is being speculated that the company might sell a 45W fast charger separately, but nothing’s concrete yet.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Expected Specs

The Galaxy S22 Series will probably sport a 6.8-inch 2K AMOLED panel with 1800 nits of peak brightness and have an ultra-thin bezel design. In the camera department, S22 is expected to have a quad-camera setup with a 108MP main sensor with an updated wide aperture and a brighter set of lenses. It will include a punch-hole at the center of the display to include a selfie snapper.

It is expected to pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC with a new three-cluster CPU design. It will run on Android 12 out of the box with One UI 4 on top. The expected dimensions of the smartphone are 163.2×77.9×8.9mm. S22 Ultra is rumoured to come in 2 storage variants of 8GB RAM+256GB storage and 12GB RAM+ 512GB storage. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will come in 3 color options- White, Black, and Dark Red.
