Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime With 2.5D Display Glass And 3GB RAM Announced

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is now listed on company’s official Vietnam website revealing all there is to know about the new J-series handset.

To start with, the Galaxy J7 Prime has a 2.5D Gorilla Glass layered on top of its 5.5-inch full HD IPS LCD display. It is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core processor, paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage. The handset also accepts up to 256GB of secondary storage.

On the software front, the J7 Prime runs Android Marshmallow out of the box.

Just like the Galaxy J7 2016, 13MP primary rear camera on J7 Prime has a wide f/1.9 aperture. The front 8MP snapper isn’t any dimmer. Samsung has used a f/1.9 aperture lens on the front camera as well.

Within its 8.1 mm thick body, the smartphone houses a 3300mAh battery. Other features include Dual Micro SIM card support, LTE Cat 4, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G, W-Fi, USB-OTG, and Micro-USB.

In Vietnam, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is priced at approx. $280. There is no word on whether the handset will roll out in global markets. We guess the chances for the same are slim at best.
