Samsung has launched its entry-grade Galaxy J2 (2018) in India. It is a good old-fashion smartphone with no swanky 18:9 or notch display. The handset comes with Samsung Mall that allows users shop by clicking a picture of the desired product and automatically getting results for the item across popular e-commerce platforms.

Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) Price and Availability

Samsung has set the Galaxy J2 (2018) India at Rs. 8,190. The phone will be available for sale from April 27th onwards in Gold, Black, and Pink color options.

As part of the introductory offer, Jio users can avail an instant cashback of Rs. 2750 as vouchers in their MyJio account on recharging with Rs 198 or Rs 299 plan. They would also get an extra 10GB of 4G data on every recharge for the next 10 recharges.

Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) Features

Coming to the specifications, the Galaxy J2 (2018) features a 5-inch qHD Super AMOLED display on the front, and is powered by 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 SoC under the hood. The chipset is paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage that is expandable memory up to 256GB via a micro SD card.

In optics, the phone features a workable 8-megapixel primary camera sensor with LED flash and 5MP selfie shooter with LED flash on the front.

The Galaxy J2 (2018) runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box, houses a 2600mAh battery, and includes connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
