Samsung is doubling down on the ultra megapixel camera game with its 64MP GW1 and 108MP ISOCELL Bright HMX sensors. While the large portion of the market jumped on to the 48MP hype-train, Samsung is paving for the new trends with its new optics. As such Galaxy A70s happens to be their new phone that has undergone the rehash cycle. It’s the main highlight which you might’ve guessed by now is the 64MP primary rear shooter.

Samsung has priced the base variant of the phone with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage for Rs 28,999. You could grab the higher model with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage at a price tag of Rs 30,999. Samsung Galaxy A70s will be on sale in India from September 28 via leading e-commerce channels, Samsung’s own e-shop, Opera house and offline channels across the country.

Samsung has kept the specs intact save for the 64MP camera on the rear panel. This vertical stack is home to an 8MP ultrawide snapper and a 5MP live-focus sensing unit, used in bokeh shots. The imaging division also boasts a dedicated Night Mode and Super Steady 4K videos at 30fps. The front camera is still a 32MP sensor.

It still has a 6.7-inch FHD+ sAMOLED display with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Underneath, you get Android Pie-based One UI software, layered on top of the Snapdragon 675 processor. The internals also includes the 6/8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is further expandable upto 512GB.

A70s borrows the same 4500mAh battery that is backed by a 25W fast charger. Other niceties include Game Booster and Samsung Pay.

The phone embellishes a 3D prism design, something similar to the recently unveiled Galaxy A50s (review). A70s is available in three fresh colors – Prism Crush Red, Prism Crush White, and Prism Crush Black.
