Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) Launched in India : Price, Features and Specifications

Samsung’s first Triple camera smartphone – the Samsung Galaxy A7 is now officially launched in India. As its name implies, the newly launched Samsung phone is a part of Galaxy A series which is catered to mid-range buyers. Apart from triple camera setup, the Galaxy A7 also packs a slightly distinct fingerprint sensor placed on the right edge.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 sports a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display. The triple camera setup is the most striking feature for in this phone. The camera module consists of a 24 MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture autofocus lens, an 8 MP shooter with 120-degree ultra-wide angle lens and a 5MP (f/2.2 aperture) depth-sensing camera. On the front, it has a 24MP (f/2.0)s camera with LED Flash and selfie focus (portrait mode). The camera module is the selling point for this phone and we need to see how it fares in the real world.

The Galaxy A7 (2018) runs on 2.2 GHz Exynos 7885 Octa-Core processor which is assisted by Mali-G71 MP2 GPU. It comes in two variant- 4GB RAM + 64GB Internal and 6GB RAM + 128GB Internal. Both of them have an expandable storage capacity of up to 512GB. What’s noteworthy is that this expandable storage supports the installation of apps and can also store app data. This will also users to use the phone flawlessly with the extended storage.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 supports Dolby Atmos. It also accommodates features such as 4G VoLTE, dual band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, and NFC. It also has Samsung Pay support and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The Galaxy A7 (2018) is powered by a 3300 mAh battery with adaptive fast charging, measures 159.8×76.8×7.5 mm, and weighs 168 grams.

The Galaxy A7 (2018) 4GB + 64GB variant of the phone has been priced at Rs. 23,990 and the 6GB + 128GB variant has been marked at a price of Rs.28,990.Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) is going to be available as a Flipkart exclusive in India on 27th and 28th September after which it will be placed on Open sale. HDFC users can also avail a cashback of Rs.2000 while purchasing the Galaxy A7 (2018) with HDFC bank cards.
