Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) with Triple Rear Cameras Launched: Price, Features

Samsung today has announced the 2018 version of Galaxy A7 in South Korea. Samsung has been riding on the success with the past few releases and is looking to continue its streak. This phone marks the advent of Samsung’s first device which sports a triple camera setup. It also features a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display.

The triple camera setup is the feature to look out for in this phone. The camera module consists of a 24 MP sensor with f/1.7 aperture autofocus lens, an 8 MP shooter with 120-degree ultra-wide angle lens and a 5MP (f/2.2 aperture) depth-sensing camera. On the front, it has a 24MP (f/2.0)s camera with LED Flash and selfie focus (portrait mode). The camera setup on the phone seems interesting and we need to look at how it fares once it is released.

The phone also has a side mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs on an unnamed 2.2 GHz Octa Core processor which is speculated to be Exynos 7885. It comes in two variants, 4GB RAM + 64GB Internal and 6GB RAM + 128GB Internal.Both of them have an expandable storage capacity of up to 512GB.

It provides support for Dolby Atmos. It also provides support for 4G VoLTE, dual band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, and NFC. It also has Samsung Pay support and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The Galaxy A7 (2018) is powered by a 3300 mAh battery with adaptive fast charging, measures 159.8×76.8×7.5 mm, and weighs 168 grams.

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) Price and availability

The phone comes in 4 color options – Blue, Black, Gold, and Pink – and starts at €349 (approximately ₹29,385). The Galaxy A7 (2018) is expected to roll out in select European and Asian markets from October onwards.
