Samsung Galaxy A22 with Helio G80 will be available in India at ₹18,499

Samsung today launched an entry grade handset from its A series called Galaxy A22. It’s a 4G device powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. Other highlights in the mix are a 48MP primary rear camera (with OIS), a large 5,000mAh battery, and a 90Hz sAMOLED display.

Samsung Galaxy A22 features

Galaxy A22 comes with a 6.4-inch HD+ sAMOLED display with infinity-U cutout on the front. The phone uses MediaTek Helio G80 SoC with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The storage can be extended up to 1TB with the help of a micro SD card.

Coming to the camera department, there is a triple camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens at the back. The waterdrop nauch on the front has a 13MP selfie camera. The device you get is running on Android 11 based Samsung One UI 3.1.

Other specifications include features like a side fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, USB type C port, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS, and a large 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support.
