Samsung Galaxy F22 starts at ₹12,499 in India

Samsung has launched a new F-series phone in the country named Galaxy F22. The highlights of the phone are its 90Hz sAMOLED display, 6000mAh battery, and a 48MP quad-camera setup by the back. Now, these are specs that are present on another recently launched Samsung handset, the Galaxy A22. But that one was confined to offline stores, which is not the case here. So, let’s cover the price and availability details first.

Samsung Galaxy F22 Price and Availability

Samsung Galaxy F22 will be available starting July 13 at 12 PM via Flipkart and Samsung India website. The 4+64GB model is priced at ₹12,499 and the higher 6+128GB variant carries a price tag of ₹14,499.

Samsung Galaxy F22 Features

On the front, the Galaxy F22 has got a 6.4-inch 90Hz sAMOLED panel which is only HD+ in resolution. There is a 13MP camera lying within an Infinity-U notch. Flip to the back, and there the 48MP quad setup lies within a squircle island. The rest of the quartet is an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP depth module, and a 2MP macro sensor. A flash lens resides out of this bump. This seems to have a ribbed sort of finish on the rear side. The phone is available in Black and Blue colors.

The underlying processor is a MediaTek Helio G80 chip paired with 4/64GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. You get the option of expanding this up to 1TB via a micro-SD card. Samsung has equipped the device with a whopping 6000mAh battery backed by a 15W charger.

The software is Android 11 based One UI. Other things in the repertoire are a 3.5mm jack, Samsung Pay Mini, a USB-C port, dual SIM 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, etc.
