The Galaxy A2 Core is Samsung’s latest Android 9.0 Pie based Go phone that would compete against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Go. It’s a handy 5-inch display phone with Exynos 7870 under the hood. The company has priced the phone at just Rs. 5290.

Galaxy A2 Core sports a 5-inch LCD display with 540 x 960 qHD resolution. Under the hood, it might carry the power of 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset, which in itself makes it powerful against the other Android Go phones.

Internally, the phone also packs 1GB RAM and 16GB storage, expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD. It also houses a power pack of 2600mAh. Out of the box, the phone ships with Android 9.0 Pie. However, what makes it different is the variant of Android that resides in the phone.

The optics include a 5MP rear camera with LED flash (f/1.9 aperture) and 5MP Front-facing camera. Other specifications include Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, and GPS. If you’re wondering, yeah the phone features a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio.

Samsung Galaxy A2 Core is available in Black and White colors via offline stores such as Mahesh Telecom. It is priced at Rs. 5290 (MOP).
