Royal Enfield has officially introduced its eagerly anticipated Super Meteor 650 motorcycle during the 2022 EICMA show happening in Milan, Italy. The company has designed the new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 based on the same platform it has used for the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Though, the new cruiser bike arrives with a few designs and feature upgrades.

Here are the five things about the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 that every biking enthusiast should know:

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Design

The design language of the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is heavily inspired by its predecessor Meteor 350 but the newcomer takes the premium quotient a notch up. It sports a 1500mm-long wheelbase, has a low-profile stance, and is built around a tubular steel frame. The new Super Meteor 650 is the heaviest bike from the brand weighing 241kg. It has a 15.7L fuel capacity. It is supported by a 19-16-inch alloy wheel assembly that has 43mm upside-down forks and twin springs.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Engine

The new RE Super Meteor 650 has become the third motorcycle from Royal Enfield featuring a 648cc engine with a parallel-twin motor after Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. It generates 46.2bhp output at 7,250rpm which is slightly lower than the other two siblings. Though it maintains the torque output of 52Nm at 5650rpm. 

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Features

On the front, RE Meteor 650 boasts a semi-digital instrument cluster accompanied by RE’s Tripper Navigation system. It features LED lights for its head and tail lamps. The dual exhausts on both sides offer an appealing look. It features a low-slung seat.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Variants

The RE Super Meteor 650 arrives in two variants ― Standard and Tourer. The Standard variant offers five colour options ― Astral Green, Astral Blue, Astral Black, Interstellar Grey, and Interstellar Green. While the highly specced Tourer model arrives in two colours ― Celestial Red and Celestial Blue. 

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650: Price and Availability

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is expected to cross the Indian border later in November. It is expected to be priced between Rs 3 lakh to Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom). More details about the availability and sale details of Meteor 650 are still unavailable, nevertheless, we will be back soon.
