Revolt Motors has launched two new e-bikes into the Indian roads. The Revolt RV400 and RV300 are brandished as India’s first fully-electric AI-enabled motorbikes. The man behind the wheels is Rahul Sharma, co-founder, Micromax. Back in June, the company had unveiled the flagship RV400. Even the pre-bookings had begun in July at Rs. 1,000 token-price.

The one thing left out of the keynote presentation back then was the pricing. And now that’s too official and interestingly, they will be sold on a subscription-based pricing model.

The bike looks in vogue due to its sharp and sporty design in two bold color options – Rebel Red and Cosmic Black. It weighs around 108kg and the ground clearance is 215mm. The RV400 comes in 3 riding modes viz. ECO, Normal, and Sport mode. And accordingly, it can touch a top speed of 45kmph, 65kmph, and 85kmph respectively. As for the range, Revolt claims a distance of upto 180km, 110km, and 80km respectively.

Being electric bikes, the battery is their bedrock and as such, a long-lasting power-source is paramount. The newly launched 3KW RV400 runs on a 72V, 3.24KWh lithium-ion battery.

RV400 uses an upside-down (reverse telescopic) forks at the front and an adjustable mono-shock at the back for suspension. It has a dual-disc setup with a 240mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc. Its braking system (CBS) is aided by a regenerative braking system (RBS).
