Redmi to launch K50 Ultra later this year with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 100W charging & more

Redmi launched its K50 Series in China earlier this year. The series has 2 devices- Redmi K50 5G and Redmi K50 Pro. Now, speculations are rife that the company is planning to add a 3rd member to this series later this year. Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has claimed that Redmi will launch Redmi K50 Ultra smartphone in the upcoming months.

Though Redmi has not confirmed anything about this new addition, the news from this reliable tipster could be true as well. Digital Chat Station has also claimed that the device will not see an immediate launch, it might launch in the 2nd half of 2022, anytime between July to December.

Redmi K50 Ultra Expected Specs

Digital Chat Station has also tipped some specs which might be true for Redmi K50 Ultra. According to the leak, Redmi K50 Ultra will be powered by the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

It might have 100W fast charging, 2K FHD+ OLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, DC Dimming, and Dolby Vision support. The smartphone is expected to have narrow bezels around it and the display might have a single punch hole in the top center.

Redmi K50 Ultra is said to feature a 50MP primary camera and a large 4800-5000mAh battery.

No other details have been revealed yet and with the launch still far away, we will have to wait to see what Redmi brings with this smartphone when it actually goes official.
