Redmi K50 Launch may happen early next year; Will be driven by Snapdragon 870: reports

The Redmi K40 series was a huge hit and its sales were quite impressive. Thanks to the performance of the Redmi K40 series, all eyes are on its successor, the Redmi K50 series. The Redmi K50 series has been the subject of several speculations. Redmi K50 Pro+, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro appear to be the three devices in this series.

Redmi K50 Series Features: What to expect?

There were earlier reports about the Redmi K50 series’ engineering model. Samsung’s latest high-refresh-rate E5 OLED screen is available on the latest smartphone series, according to leaks. The display effect will be significantly enhanced by this display.

Furthermore, Redmi K50 is also equipped with a 100W fast charger. A charging capacity of 120W is expected for this series. With this new model, Redmi will offer fast charging of up to 100W for the first time. According to reports, the Redmi K50 Pro and Redmi K50 Pro+ will support the E5 high refresh rate screen. This feature will further enhance its experience and cost performance.

The Snapdragon 888 will be used in one of the Redmi K50’s models, as announced previously. Others, however, will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898.

The main camera is a 64MP OV64B, supplemented by ultra-wide-angle and macro lenses.

There is also a fingerprint sensor on the side of the Xiaomi Redmi K50 series. Ingres is the code name for the Redmi K50 Pro. According to some sources, “Ingres” was a French neoclassical painter.

Moreover, the code revealed Xiaomi’s next smartphone codenamed “Zizhan” (in respect to great Chinese author Su Dongpo of the Northern Song Dynasty). This smartphone, however, does not contain any specific information.

Redmi K50 Series: Price and Availability

Snapdragon 898 will be officially released by Qualcomm at the end of the year. Xiaomi Mi 12 will be the first smartphone to feature this chip this year. As a result, we expect the Redmi K50 series to arrive in early 2022. As far as the price is concerned, there are no details about that yet.
