Note 8, Note 8 Pro other confirmed specs
At the crux, the Note 8 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G90T SoC, while the regular Note 8 sticks to Snapdragon 665 chipset.
The company has confirmed the camera details too. Both the phones will come flaunting a quad rear camera setup. This gets better on the Pro variant as its primary camera will have a 64MP sensor. This one is rumored to support 25x zoom as well, which would be just icing on the cake. The Note 8 won’t be a lackey as its main shooter is going to be a 48MP sensor. Rest of the camera panel will be home to three cameras, viz., Super Wide Angle, Depth of Field and Super Macro.
This time around, the Redmi phones will ship with a high-capacity 4500mAh battery that would be 18W charging complaint. Traditionally, smaller Redmi phones don’t bring the fast charger and hence, Note 8 might carry a 10W charger out of the box.
The new Redmi phones will continue the USB-C and 3.5mm headphone jack inclusion, just like the precursors. Speaking of similarities, you might get a similar design language as the K20 series. The familiar gradient finish and Gorilla glass body might transit to the new Notes. The horizontal camera panel might shift to the center and right beneath it, the good old fingerprint scanner might abode.
