Redmi Note 2 Prime will be an Amazon Exclusive in India

Update: Xiaomi won’t be bringing Redmi Note 2 Prime afterall. Looks like the company is bringing in another upgraded variant of Redmi Note 4G

As we reported yesterday, Redmi Note 2 Prime will be launching in India on December 15, and now we have some more information for Xiaomi fans desperately awaiting its arrival in India. Redmi Note 2 Prime will be exclusively available on Amazon.in.

Today Amazon India has attested our news by listing Redmi Note 2 Prime on its website. Redmi Note 2 Prime was first launched in Mainland China, however, due to  patent infringement lawsuit from Ericsson, the Chinese Manufacturer  could not launch it India. Recent patent licensing accord between Xiaomi and Qualcomm has opened up the gates for Redmi Note 2 Prime India.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is likely to succeed successful Redmi Note 4G in India. The handset has a 5.5 Inch full HD display and is powered by 2.2 GHz MediaTek Helio X10 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage. It also features an updated camera hardware, 4G LTE support and Infrared sensor.
