Redmi K30 Pro Launch Date Announced, Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition To Tag Along

The launch date of much anticipated Redmi K30 Pro has been announced. The Xiaomi sub-brand will officially reveal everything about the Redmi K30 Pro on March 24 in China. The announcement was made through a post on Chinese microblogging site Weibo.

The Redmi K30 Pro launch date confirmation comes a day after its hands-on images leaked online.

That’s not all. Redmi General Manager and Xiaomi President of China Region Lu Weibing also acknowledged the existence of Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition which could launch alongside the Redmi K30 Pro on the same day.

While there’s still more than a week to go for the official launch, Xiaomi officially has been revealing tidbits about the Redmi K30 Pro through official teasers. Redmi’s GM Lu Weibing posted the K30 Pro Auntu score of 610,296 points. If that’s correct, the Redmi K30 Pro could have the highest ever score on AnTuTu benchmark test.

Redmi K30 Pro & Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition Specifications and Expectations

Redmi has officially confirmed that its 2020 flagship – the Redmi K30 Pro – will be based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. The phone will include X55 modem and will be 5G-ready. The upcoming Redmi K30-series phones will feature a notch-less screen, thanks to a pop-up selfie camera (Same as the K20-series).

The primary rear camera on the Redmi K30 Pro is expected to be the 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor which we have seen on the Poco X2 (review) and Realme 6 Pro (review).

The Redmi K30 Pro Zoom, on the other hand, is likely to feature an upgraded telephoto sensor offering up to 50X Zoom. Both of these phones are likely to run MIUI 11 out of the box and house 4,700 mAh batteries with 33W wired fast-charging.
