JioCinema, the streaming service owned by Reliance Jio, has introduced its first-ever paid subscription plans. This move comes after the streaming service added Hollywood content to its library, including content from Paramount+ and Warner Bros. HBO.

JioCinema will continue to offer a free tier with ads, but users who subscribe to one of the paid plans will be able to watch movies and TV shows without commercials. The paid plans will also offer other benefits, such as the ability to download content for offline viewing and to stream on multiple devices simultaneously, including your phone.

JioCinema has introduced two new paid plans: Premium and Family. The Premium plan costs INR 59 per month and allows users to stream on one device at a time in up to 4K quality. The Family plan costs INR 149 per month and allows users to stream on up to four devices simultaneously.

Both plans offer ad-free viewing (except for live content) and downloads for offline viewing. JioCinema is currently offering some discounts on both plans, bringing their price down to INR 29 per month for the Premium tier and INR 89 per month for the Family tier.

It is not yet clear how long these offers will last but you can grab them now so you don’t miss out. You can sign up for these plans via the JioCinema app or website. Finally, while JioCinema will continue to offer a free ad-supported tier, users opting for the paid plans will enjoy an ad-free experience.
