Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 3 Smartphone & Redmi Pad Pro Tablet Announced in China: Special Editions Revealed

A few days ago we talked about how Xiaomi is all set to announce two new products under the Redmi branding in its home country China. These include an affordable smartphone and the third Tablet by the brand. Now, both these devices have finally been officially announced in China. Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone and Redmi Pad Pro Tablet have officially made their way to Xiaomi’s home market and both these devices boast of top-notch specs at affordable price points. There is a special edition variant as well which has been announced.

Redmi Turbo 3 & Redmi Pad Pro: Price & Availability

Redmi Turbo 3 will be available in four storage configurations-

  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage- CNY 1999 (Rs. 23,500)
  • 12GB RAM+512GB storage- CNY 2999 (Rs. 26,500)
  • 16GB RAM+512GB storage- CNY 2499 (Rs. 28,800)
  • 16GB RAM+1TB storage-CNY 2799 (Rs. 32,300)

It will go on sale on 15th April and the brand will offer a free screen protection plan and Redmi Buds 4 Youth Edition during the first sale. Redmi Turbo 3 comes in Black Crystal, Green Blade, and Ice Titanium shades.

Redmi Pad Pro Tablet comes in the following variants-

  • 6GB RAM+128GB storage- CNY 1499 (Rs.17,250)
  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage- CNY 1599 (Rs. 18,400)
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- CNY 1799 (Rs. 20,700)

The Pad Pro Comes in Gray, Green, and Blue shades

Redmi Turbo 3: Specifications

Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 3 smartphone flaunts a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 2499 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with Adreno 735 GPU, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB storage.

The smartphone supports dual SIM and runs Xiaomi HyperOS out of the box. In terms of camera optics, there is a 50MP main, an 8MP ultrawide sensor at the back, and a 20MP snapper at the front. The device weighs 179 grams and has a thickness of 7.8mm. It is IP64 rated and packs a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 90W fast charging. Additional features include 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 6, GLONASS, GPS, NavIC, and more.

Redmi Pad Pro Tablet: Specifications

Xiaomi Redmi Pad Pro Tablet sports a 12.1-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2.5K resolution along with 600 nits brightness, Dolby Vision, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. The pad runs HyperOS based on Android 14 and features an 8MP sensor at the back. The front houses an 8MP camera for selfies while under the hood is a massive 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The Tablet has a quad-speaker setup and weighs 571 grams with a thickness of 7.52mm. It is IP52 rated and additional features include WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

Redmi Turbo 3 & Redmi Pad Pro: Harry Potter Editions

Redmi has announced special Harry Potter Limited Editions for Turbo 3 as well as Pad Pro. Redmi Turbo 3 Harry Potter Edition will be inspired by “Seven Horcruxes” and showcase the storyline. It will have an aesthetic magical experience and pay tribute to the world of magic. The box will offer a dazzling array of magic shops and there will be hand-painted “Diagon Alley” scenes, badges, custom cases, and much more. to offer an immersive experience.

The Redmi Turbo 3 Harry Potter Edition will come in a 16GB RAM+512GB storage model and is priced at 2699 yuan (Rs. 31,000 approx.). It will go on sale from 15th April.

The Redmi Pad Pro Tablet Harry Potter Edition will come in an 8GB RAM+256GB storage version for CNY 2299 (Rs. 26,000 approx.).

While Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed anything about the India launch of these two devices, the reports claim that the Redmi Turbo 3 might come to India as a rebranded Poco F6 while the Redmi Pad Pro might launch as the first Tablet under Poco branding.
