Redmi has confirmed the launch date of Redmi A5 smartphone in India. The Redmi A5 is arriving in the country on 15th April and it will be the smartphone featuring segment’s largest and smoothest display in under 10k segment. Ahead of the launch, the brand has announced the color variants and features of the device.

Redmi A5: Color Options

Redmi A5 will come in Jaisalmer Gold, Pondicherry Blue and Just Black shades in India. It will retail via Flipkart, mi.com and offline stores. The launch is happening on 15th April at 12 PM IST.

Redmi A5: Features

The official landing page of the Redmi A5 has gone live on Flipkart that confirms the smartphone will sport a 120Hz display with TUV Rheinland eye comfort certification. The device will pack a 5200mAh battery and be priced under Rs. 10,000.

The smartphone was recently launched globally. The global variant is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. It runs Android 15 Go Edition and sports a 6.88-inch HD+ screen. In terms of camera, it features a 32MP dual rear setup and an 8MP front camera.

In Indonesia, the Redmi A5 is priced at IDR 11,99,000 (Rs. 6100) for 4GB/128GB version. POCO C71 shares same specs and is priced at Rs. 6499 for 4GB/64GB model.
