Realme 6i confirmed to launch on July 24 with 90Hz display and Helio G90T SoC

Realme is all set to launch its much-awaited Realme 6i in India on July 24. It is believed that Realme 6i is a rebranded version of the Realme 6s which has been officially launched in Europe. The 6i is expected to compete with the Redmi Note 9 head-on in India.

Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme, took on Twitter to announce the arrival of midrange Realme 6i in India. Apart from the launch date, other details like 90Hz display, Helio G90T processor, quad rear cameras, and a punch-hole screen panel are out as well.

Realme 6i Features

Realme 6i will allegedly come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. The left corner of the screen has a punch-hole to house the selfie camera. For photography, Realme 6i is expected to include quad-rear cameras with a 48MP primary shooter, 8MP Ultra wide-angle lens (119° FoV), a 2MP macro lens, and B&W portrait lens.

The Realme 6i gets octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T gaming processor coupled with Mali G76 graphics. The smartphone may arrive in a single variant of 4GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 64GB inbuilt storage, expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. The device runs on Realme UI based on Android 10 operating system.

The phone is rumored to have a 4300mAh battery with 30W Dart charge support. Realme 6i comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the power button. Connectivity options include dual 4G, WiFi6, Bluetooth 5.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Realme 6i Price and Availability

The twin of Realme 6i i.e. Realme 6s is priced at 199 euros (around Rs 17,000) in the European market. Realme 69 price in India is expected to be significantly lower. The phone will ship in Lunar White and Eclipse Black color options.
