Realme is a brand that loves to partner with popular trends to launch special edition devices that appeal to a large section of its consumers. Earlier Realme launched GT Neo 3 Naruto Edition, GT Neo 3 Thor Love and Thunder Edition, and Realme GT Neo 2 Dragon Ball Z Special Editions. Now, the brand has now come up with one of a kind partnership as it has collaborated with Coca-Cola to bring the Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition smartphone. It is the first smartphone to come with a soft drink branding and the tagline ‘Cheers for Real’ encompasses the fizzy feeling of this refreshing drink.

Realme 10 5G Coca-Cola Edition : Refreshing Coca-Cola Design

Design is the most important change as Realme has partnered with leading soft drink brand Coca-Cola to bring the experience of the fizzy drink in the form of a smartphone. The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition has a design that screams Coke. The backside has been divided into a 70:30 asymmetrical ratio wherein 30% is black that contains Realme branding in silver & camera lenses, while 70% is bold Coca-Cola red in color with cropped Coca-Cola logo.

The smartphone’s rear side has a matte finish and feels like you are holding a can of Coca-Cola. It is made of aluminum and is resistant to scratches and fingerprints. The top right side has two camera lenses inside a halo outlined in red. The red outline of the camera lenses shines giving it a distinct look. The smartphone has pure black curved edges that feel plastic. The left edge houses a SIM tray while the bottom edge has a USB type-c charging port, speaker grille, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The right edge has a power button and volume rockers along with ‘Coca-Cola’ words engraved at the bottom side. These little tweaks have been made to give a feel of holding a Coke phone to the users and they do work. It has a thickness of 8.1mm and weighs 190 grams. The smartphone has a collision of bold red and black hues and the in-hand feel is decent as well.

Realme 10 5G Coca-Cola Edition Review: Coke themed UI for a fizzy feeling

The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition runs Android 13 as well but the UI has been completely themed to give Coca-Cola experience. The Lock screen has a Realmeow wallpaper while the home screen has a wallpaper of Coca-Cola bubbles inside the bottle. There are Coca-Cola ringtones and the notifications occur as Coca-Cola bubbles.

The look of the app icons has been completely redesigned with Coca-Cola elements. All the icons have a thick red outline and many have been giving Coke-themed designs like the ‘Settings’ app icon is a Coca-Cola bottle cap, the ‘Screen Lock’ icon looks like a lock with Coke written on it, the ‘Camera’ app icon is a cola red colored camera. So, the design of the app icons panel will always keep reminding you of the Coca-Cola drink. The sound of the camera shutter when a picture is clicked will remind you of the ‘popping of a cola bottle’ while notifications have a ’fizzing bubbles sound’. When you plug the device in for charging, you will see a dynamic effect of flowing cola.

The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition sports a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 93.76% screen-to-body ratio, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and mere 1mm side bezels.

The streaming experience on the device was good thanks to punchy colors and good contrasts. However, it cannot match the blacks of an AMOLED display. The Realme 10 Pro 5G Coca-Cola Edition is powered by Snapdragon 695 chipset based on a 6nm process. It has Adreno A619 GPU, 5G connectivity, and 128GB storage on board. There are 2 RAM options available- 6GB and 8 GB.

The unit that we tested had 8GB RAM onboard. While using the Realme 10 Pro Coca-Cola Edition as my daily driver, I faced no serious heating or lagging issues while doing casual gaming or multitasking. Not only this, but the smartphone also has virtual RAM of up to 8GB, similar to the high-end variant of the series.
