Razer – a brand popular among gamers, has globally announced its first ever Android-powered smartphone. It goes by the name Razer Phone and features some mind-blowing specs that were unheard of in a smartphone, until now.

High-quality IGZO display that is seen on Razer gaming laptops is being used in its first smartphone as well. Razer phone features a high-quality 5.7-inch LCD display with 1440 x 2560 px resolution and wide color gamut. The intriguing part of this display is that it features UltraMotion technology that delivers a refresh rate of 120Hz, which is twice what you see on most other smartphones.

Mightly Powerful Hardware

The Razer Phone is powered Qualcomm’s most powerful Snapdragon 835 processor which is backed by 8GB RAM. Being a gaming-centric manufacturer, Razer is offering 64GB of internal storage to store all your games and apps, if in case that’s not enough, it comes supports up to 1TB microSD card to keep all your media like photo, video and music content.

The “Gaming Smartphone” draws juice from its huge 4000mAh battery, which will ensure that you enjoy uninterrupted gaming for long hours. Furthermore, the Razer Phone will be the first smartphone to feature Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 4.0+ technology.

Razer Phone will feature a dual-camera setup at the back. It features a pair of 12MP sensors with one being wide angle lens with f/1.8 aperture and it is complemented by a telephoto with f/2.6 aperture. Upfront, it has an 8MP selfie sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

Preloaded Nova Launcher

The UI on Razer smartphone is close to stock Android Nougat 7.1.1. The phone will get Android Oreo update by the first-quarter of next year, as claimed by the company. Having said that, you can experience some of Android Oreo features with the pre-installed prime version of Nova Launcher.
