After several leaked images and even leaked hands-on video, HTC has finally taken the curtains off the U11 Plus and U11 Life at a media event in the Taipei, Taiwan. The U11 Life is an Android One Phone and the U11 Plus is the new HTC flagship with an 18:9 display.
HTC U11 Plus Features and Highlights
Talking about the HTC U11 Plus, this upgraded version of U11 comes with minimal-bezel 6-inch QHD+ 18:9 display and has ‘Edge Sense’ feature that makes it respond to squeezes.
Once again, HTC goes with Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with 4GB / 6GB RAM to ensure no holds barred performance. Interestingly, it supports both Google Assistant as well as Amazon Alexa.

For photography, it comes with a 12-megapixel Ultrapixel primary camera with OIS and EIS for video stabilization. Upfront, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. It comes in 64GB and 128GB internal storage options. The phone is aided by a 3,930mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. Like its predecessor, it is also an IP68 rating for water- and dust-resistance.
HTC U11 Life (Android One) Features and Highlights
It is HTC’s first ever Android One smartphone and it comes running on the Android Oreo out of the box. HTC is also offering HTC Sense UI version of the phone which will be North America exclusive. The U11 Life rocks a 5.2-inch display full HD resolution.It is powered by budget Snapdragon 630 chipset which is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage to meet the performance expectation.
HTC has said that it will also introduce a 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM version of the U11 Life globally in the near future. For shutterbugs, the HTC U11 Life houses a 16-megapixel camera on either side. In other features, U11 Life includes a 2,600mAh battery, IP67 water resistance, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, and NFC.

HTC U11 Plus and HTC U11 Life Price and Availability
HTC U11 Plus price is £699 for the base variant which is approx. Rs. 60,000. The HTC U11 Life official launch price is £349 which is approx. Rs 30,000. The U11 Plus will be offered in Amazing Silver, Ceramic Black, and Translucent Black hues, whereas, the U11 Life will be shipping in Sapphire Blue color. HTC is expected to make both these phones available in India before the end of November.
