PUBG Mobile to reportedly bring Zombie Mode, Auto-Rikshaw, and more in January

PUBG which is arguably one of the most popular games of 2018 is likely to get a new 0.10.5 update in the January month. As per reports, this update would add a Zombie mode on both Android and iOS versions, similar to other Battle-royale games such as Call Of Duty Black Ops 4. This could be present within the Arcade section of the game.

Tencent, which is the publisher of PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) teased a collaboration with Capcom at the PUBG Mobile Star Challenge being held in Dubai. Later on, PUBG Mobile tweeted this from its official handle:

The short clip attached to the tweet shows our protagonist attacking the zombies till the logos of PUBG and Resident Evil 2 games surfaces at the end. Resident Evil 2 is an upcoming survival horror game from Capcom. This unique blend of these two games would be an exhilarating experience in itself.

Moving ahead, we also get the update for death cam feature that shows you the replay of your death in the game. And as expected out of a shooting game, this update could introduce MK 47 Mutant, a laser sight gun attachment in the inventory.  Reportedly, you could also drive a rickshaw a.k.a Tushai.

The dynamic weather system could enhance your gaming experience as now the world would seem more real and immersive. Moreover, the Classic Voices option could return in the PUBG Mobile 0.10.5 update.

There is no official confirmation from Tencent as of now. Moreover, these updates are big and could be featured in a later update also. But since the Resident Evil 2 release date is January 25 for PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC, the PUBG players could be blessed with these features by then. PUBG Mobile Youtubers Game Lovers and Mr. Ghost Gaming are sources of these rumors. Apart from this, there could be fixes for performance after the Vikendi update. Needless to say, the gaming community is abuzz with this and many more PUBG tidbits.
