In September 2023, Poco launched the next smartphone in its ‘M’ Series. Poco M6 Pro 5G was announced in the country starting at Rs. 10,999. The smartphone offers 5G connectivity at a very competitive price and good quality specs. It features a Snapdragon chipset, an attractive design, a 50MP camera, and more. Now, Poco has confirmed the launch date of the vanilla model of the M6 Series.
Poco India handle on X (formerly Twitter) shared a post confirming the launch date of the Poco M6 5G to be 22nd December 2023. The brand claims the smartphone to be a segment disruptor as it will be the most affordable 5G Phone ever. The launch event will take place on 22nd December at 12 PM IST. Live streaming of the event will be available on the brand’s YouTube channel.

Poco M6 5G: Expected Price
Considering the fact that Poco is calling M6 5G the most affordable 5G phone ever, it is expected to cost under Rs. 10,000. The Poco M6 5G will come in 2 colors- Purple and Black. The smartphone will retail via Flipkart.

Poco M6 5G: Expected Specs
Earlier reports claimed that Poco M6 will be a rebrand of the recently launched Redmi 13C. If we believe the same to be true, then Poco M6 will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It might feature a 6.74-inch LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device might juice up from a 5000mAh battery under the hood with 18W wired fast charging. It will most likely run MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
Talking about the camera, the Poco M6 is expected to have a 50MP+AI Rear main camera at the back and a 5MP lens at the front. There will be a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C charging, a fingerprint sensor at the side, and more. The vanilla mode of the ‘M’ Series will feature a Sky Dance deign.
