Pixel 3a Pricing and Packaging pops up, launch date teased, and more details

Google could launch the purported Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL phones at Google I/O event on May 7th, 2019. Indian eComm giant Flipkart has also teased the anticipated arrival set for the next day, i.e. May 8th as per India time. Just days ahead of the launch, we have the expected specs, features, pricing, package and event the color variant details.

We have witnessed several leaks, rumors and renders of the Pixel lite edition devices in the days till date. So forth, we know the specs to expect from the oncoming pixel lineup. We had also got a glimpse of the purple colored pixel 3a, courtesy of a reliable twitter source.

Now, even the packaging has popped up cementing the expectation of the new color edition. The box confirms the light purple aka ‘Purple-ish’ hue, 5.6-inch display size and 64GB storage on the Pixel 3a. This device would come in a plastic build. From the above image, we see that the top half sports a light purple tinge while the bottom half wears the familiar white. The ‘G’ logo dons a solid purple color. To the side, we get to see a purple volume rocker as well as a tangy yellow power button.

The upcoming Pixel 3a and 3a XL could ship with squeezable Active Edge sensors, rear fingerprint scanners, Google Camera prowess viz. Night Sight, Portrait Mode, Motion Auto Focus, and unlimited Google Photos storage. Furthermore, they could come with fast charging support to deliver seven hours of use in 15 minutes of charge.

Google’s upcoming Pixel phones might be out in “Just Black”, “Clearly White”, and “Purple-ish” color options. The silicon valley giant could also offer 3 years of security and OS updates with these devices.

You could also expect an Avengers Endgame flair to this year Google I/O event from the Something Big is Coming teaser that surfaced a few days back. The rumor mill had already spewed out almost every important specs and features out on the public domain. The official listing page was also spotted, albeit for a short while on the Mountain View company’s website.
